July 2016 we started our first project, Rise Up, in Chittagong Bangladesh, and have completed our two months training program with success.Murshi has selected Taslima Sultana and Anowara Begum from Bangladesh for our first training. After the training Taslima is employed by Doll's house and Anowara got the skills to run her own tailoring company.
After getting married Taslima’s husband stayed in Bangladesh only for two months, then returned to Oman to his job and never came back. Taslima now lives with her brother's family and wanted to become financially independent. After the boutique training she got employment at Doll's house. She is financially independent now.
After five years of marriage followed by a divorce, Anowara’s husband took custody of her daughter. Anowara now lives with her sister and has adopted a four year old girl. Recently she took a loan from an NGO and bought a sewing machine to start a tailoring company. Her income remains low, but she strives to raise the girl and become financially independent. From this boutique training she got the skills to train people and operate her business.
